Rams Score Touchdown to Lead 14-13 Against Buffalo

The Rams achieved their first touchdown on an opening possession this season during a game against Buffalo on Monday night, taking a 14-13 lead.

The scoring drive consisted of nine plays covering 60 yards, initiated by a 32-yard kickoff return from Alex Bachman to the Los Angeles 40-yard line. A false start penalty on Tyler Higbee on fourth-and-1 from the Buffalo 35 was followed by a successful 10-yard catch on fourth-and-6, and Higbee later drew a 17-yard pass interference penalty that set up Blake Corum’s 1-yard touchdown run.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 21 of 30 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown during the game.
