Rams Show Interest in Maxx Crosby After Ravens Trade Falls Through

The Los Angeles Rams expressed interest in Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby after a trade deal with the Baltimore Ravens fell through. The Ravens canceled the agreement due to concerns regarding Crosby's surgically-repaired knee.

Following the failed trade, reports indicated that several teams, including the Eagles, Cowboys, and 49ers, were monitoring Crosby's situation. Ian Rapoport noted that the Rams emerged as the most serious contender for Crosby after the Ravens' decision.

Despite the Rams' interest, it was reported that Crosby was not keen on being traded again, having reconciled his feelings towards the Raiders, the team that drafted him in 2019. Ultimately, the Rams shifted their focus to acquiring Myles Garrett from the Browns, sending three draft picks and Jared Verse in the process. Meanwhile, Crosby has received full medical clearance for training camp and is reportedly in excellent health.
