Rangers Overcome Deficits to Defeat Rays 8-6

In Arlington, Texas, the Texas Rangers triumphed over the Tampa Bay Rays 8-6 on Sunday, overcoming two four-run deficits. Jake Burger contributed significantly with two home runs, while Ezequiel Duran recorded his 12th game of the season with at least three hits.

The Rangers, now at 71-73, managed to split the four-game series against the Rays, who hold the best record in the American League at 85-58. Texas is currently two games behind in the AL West and the race for the final wild card spot.

After tying the game at 5-5 in the fifth inning, the Rangers took the lead with key hits from Elias Díaz and Duran. Corey Seager later extended the lead with a solo homer in the eighth.
