Raptors Release Trey Jemison from Two-Way Contract
The Toronto Raptors have announced the release of Trey Jemison, a big man on a two-way contract, as reported by Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.
Jemison signed his two-way deal in early August and made one appearance during the preseason. He sustained a hand injury during training camp, which contributed to his release. Currently, the Raptors have two open two-way slots, with only guard Malachi Smith remaining on a two-way contract.
Jemison, an undrafted player from UAB in 2023, has had a varied career in the NBA and G League, having played for multiple teams including the Knicks, where he recorded 13 points and 18 rebounds in 13 games last season. His G League performance with the Westchester Knicks included averages of 8.3 points and 8.6 rebounds over 31 games.
