Rashawn Slater Misses Fourth Straight Practice Due to Knee Issue
Rashawn Slater, the left tackle for the Chargers, has missed his fourth consecutive practice due to complications with his surgically repaired left knee.
Slater, who previously tore his patellar tendon over a year ago, reported that he has been sidelined since last week because of a flare-up in the same knee. In his absence, teammates Trey Pipkins and Branson Taylor have been taking additional practice reps at the left tackle position.
While Slater has not provided a timeline for his return, he indicated that this situation is part of his recovery process as he prepares for the regular season. He mentioned that there is nothing alarming about his condition, although concerns may arise regarding his availability as September approaches.
