Rashee Rice Returns for Chiefs, Mansoor Delane's Status Uncertain
The Kansas City Chiefs will welcome back receiver Rashee Rice for their matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Rice has recovered from hamstring and knee injuries that sidelined him for the previous two games.
Rice participated fully in practice on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. In contrast, rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane is questionable for the game due to a shoulder injury, which he aggravated after being a non-participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Head coach Andy Reid mentioned that Delane's injury is the same one he suffered earlier this season.
Delane, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft, has made notable contributions with five passes defensed, three tackles for loss, and one interception this season. Other players, including cornerback L’Jarius Sneed and defensive end R Mason Thomas, are also listed as questionable, while defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott has been ruled out for the week.
