Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is facing three charges stemming from an incident on June 3, as reported by TMZ Sports.
Bateman allegedly damaged his ex-girlfriend's car while their 3-month-old child was inside. The charges include battery-family violence, reckless conduct, and first-degree criminal damage to property. According to the arrest warrant, he broke the windshield and driver's side windows, resulting in injuries to the alleged victim.
The Ravens organization has acknowledged the situation and stated they are in communication with Bateman while cooperating with the league. Following the incident, Bateman requested the court to lift a no-contact order, which was granted under the condition that he maintain no violent contact.
