Raul Fernandez Claims Victory at British MotoGP

Raul Fernandez from Trackhouse Racing achieved his first MotoGP victory of the season at the British Grand Prix held at Silverstone, finishing ahead of championship leader Jorge Martin.

Fernandez led the race from the start and won by a margin of 2.5 seconds. Martin, who started from pole position, faced technical difficulties early on, dropping to fourth before recovering to finish in second place.

Marco Bezzecchi, Martin's teammate at Aprilia, secured third place, while Ai Ogura dropped to third in the championship standings after failing to finish the race. Defending champion Marc Marquez finished seventh. MotoGP recently confirmed that the British Grand Prix will remain on the calendar until at least 2028, with the next race scheduled for the Aragon Grand Prix in Spain on August 30.
