
Raul Fernandez Leads Aprilia Dominance at MotoGP Indonesian Grand Prix
Raul Fernandez showcased impressive form at the MotoGP Indonesian Grand Prix in Mandalika, breaking the lap record and leading a 1-2-3 finish for Aprilia during practice on Friday.
Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin, both factory riders for Aprilia, followed closely behind Fernandez, finishing within half a second of his time. Pedro Acosta from KTM and Marc Marquez from Ducati secured spots in Qualifying 2, finishing fourth and fifth respectively, although they faced a significant time deficit.
Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli from VR46 Ducati also advanced to Q2, while Fabio Quartararo managed to achieve the seventh-fastest time despite a crash. Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia rounded out the top ten, with Bagnaia narrowly avoiding yellow flags caused by crashes from other riders. Fermin Aldeguer faced a challenging day with multiple crashes and technical issues, preventing him from entering the top ten.
