Raven Chapman, a British boxer, is anticipated to return to the UK next week after undergoing a second successful surgery for a brain bleed that occurred during a sparring session in Denmark.

The 32-year-old athlete collapsed following training on July 24 and was airlifted to a hospital, where she was diagnosed with a brain haematoma and cerebral oedema. After emergency surgery and a medically induced coma, her management company, Vote Boxing, confirmed that she has successfully undergone another procedure.

Chapman's management noted that this development is a crucial step in her recovery, making it safer for her to travel home. Plans are in place for her to fly back next week, allowing her to continue her recovery with family support. A GoFundMe page established for her rehabilitation has raised over £88,000, with her management expressing gratitude for the support received during this challenging time.
