Ravens Acquire Cam Jurgens from Eagles in Trade
The Baltimore Ravens have made a significant trade, acquiring center Cam Jurgens from the Philadelphia Eagles. This transaction was announced on Wednesday, following the Ravens' loss of Tyler Lindenbaum to the Las Vegas Raiders during the offseason.
In exchange for Jurgens, the Ravens will send a fifth-round pick in 2027 and a second-round pick in 2028 to Philadelphia, along with receiving a seventh-round pick in 2027. Jurgens, who is 27 years old, was previously seen as a potential successor to All-Pro center Jason Kelce.
With injuries affecting their center position, including the loss of Danny Pinter to a season-ending injury, the Ravens needed to bolster their offensive line. Jurgens has had a challenging season, but the Ravens believe he will fit well into their offensive scheme. Following this trade, the Eagles have increased their draft capital, now holding multiple first- and second-round picks for the 2028 NFL Draft.
