Ravens Add Kicker Jake Moody to Practice Squad

The Baltimore Ravens have signed kicker Jake Moody to their practice squad, aiming to create competition for Tyler Loop.

Moody, a former third-round draft pick, was previously with the Washington Commanders but was released after the team's kicking competition concluded in mid-August. In his initial season with the San Francisco 49ers, he successfully converted 21 of 25 field goals and 60 of 61 extra points, but his performance declined in 2024, where he made only 70.6 percent of his field goals.

After his time with the 49ers, Moody played for the Chicago Bears, where he made 8 of 9 field goals and 3 of 3 extra points. He then joined Washington, achieving 10 of 11 field goals and extra points over six games. Loop, who is entering his second season, had a successful rookie year but faced challenges in the preseason, missing two long field goal attempts.
