Ravens Confirm Lamar Jackson Out for Sunday Game
The Baltimore Ravens announced on Saturday that quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for their upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a persistent ankle injury. This marks the third consecutive game Jackson will miss because of a high-ankle sprain.
Tyler Huntley will take the helm once again as the starting quarterback. Jackson had expressed hope earlier in the week about his potential return, noting that while he felt improvement, pain remained an issue, particularly when running. The Ravens opted to make the decision official on Saturday rather than wait until game day.
Currently, the Ravens hold a record of 4-2, having won three of four games with Jackson as the starter, while they are 1-1 without him. Following the Bengals game, the Ravens will face the Buffalo Bills on the road and then host the Jacksonville Jaguars in a Thursday night matchup.
