Ravens Finalize Roster Moves Ahead of 53-Player Limit
The Ravens successfully reached the 53-player roster limit on Sunday, with a significant focus on the players they retained.
Among the key decisions, undrafted free agent quarterback Joe Fagnano secured a spot on the roster, leading to the release of quarterback Austin Reed. Fagnano will serve as a backup to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.
In addition to Reed, the Ravens waived several players, including inside linebacker Michael Barrett and offensive guard Evan Beerntsen. They also terminated the contracts of wide receiver Chris Moore and cornerback Amani Oruwariye, among others. Furthermore, cornerback Bilhal Kone and running back Adam Randall were placed on injured reserve with a return designation.
