Ravens GM Expects Strong Season from Marlon Humphrey
Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta is optimistic about cornerback Marlon Humphrey's performance this season, expecting a significant improvement after a disappointing previous year.
Humphrey is entering the final year of his five-year, $97 million contract extension signed in 2020. DeCosta highlighted Humphrey's past achievements, including multiple All-Pro selections and Pro Bowl appearances, and expressed confidence in his ability to excel in a contract year.
Humphrey's cap hit exceeds $26 million this year, and while the Ravens could have opted to cut him, DeCosta believes Humphrey will deliver value on the field. A return to his All-Pro form would benefit both the Ravens' defense and Humphrey's future contract prospects.
