DeCosta clarified that the Ravens initially aimed to acquire both Hendrickson and Maxx Crosby but shifted focus to Hendrickson after concerns about Crosby's knee. He highlighted Hendrickson's strong showing in competitive practices against teams like the Vikings and Commanders, indicating that he is ready to make significant contributions when the season begins.
