Ravens Prepare for Possible Start of Tyler Huntley Against Falcons
Lamar Jackson's participation in the Ravens' game against the Falcons is uncertain due to an ankle sprain. If Jackson is unable to play, Tyler Huntley is expected to take the starting role.
Huntley, who has primarily played for the Ravens since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020, has shown that he can maintain offensive continuity. Head coach Jesse Minter expressed confidence in Huntley, stating that the team's offensive system would not require significant changes with him at quarterback.
In a recent game against the Titans, Huntley completed 8 of 9 passes for 63 yards and added 16 rushing yards. Last season, he had a completion rate of 77.6% in five appearances, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Historically, the Ravens have a record of 5-6 with Huntley as a starter.
