Ravens' Rashod Bateman Faces Family Violence Charges from June Incident
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman has been charged with multiple offenses, including family violence, related to an incident that occurred in June in Georgia.
On June 3, Bateman was arrested on misdemeanor charges of criminal property damage, reckless conduct, and battery, according to booking documents from the Walton County Sheriff's Office. The Ravens acknowledged the situation and stated they have been in communication with Bateman while cooperating with the league office during the ongoing legal matter.
In the 2025 NFL season, Bateman recorded a career-low of 224 receiving yards along with two touchdowns on 19 receptions. Over five seasons with the Ravens, he has accumulated 157 catches for 2,147 yards and 15 touchdowns since being drafted 27th overall in 2021. He signed a three-year contract extension worth $36.75 million in June 2025, with $16.5 million guaranteed at signing.
