Ravens Rookie WR Ja'Kobi Lane to Undergo Wrist Surgery

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane is expected to miss approximately a month due to surgery for a fractured wrist. The procedure is anticipated to take place soon, potentially as early as Wednesday.

Lane's injury comes after a promising offseason and training camp, where he was expected to play a significant role alongside fellow receiver Zay Flowers. With both players injured, the Ravens' receiving depth is being tested ahead of their upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints. Rashod Bateman, Chris Moore, and Elijah Sarratt are now next in line to fill the void.

Lane, who was drafted in the third round from USC, had a strong collegiate career with 99 receptions for 1,363 yards and 18 touchdowns. His debut in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts was cut short due to the wrist injury, limiting him to one catch for 11 yards. If his recovery takes the full month, he could miss games against the Saints, Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, and Atlanta Falcons.
