Ravens Secure Victory Over Colts with Strong Performances from Henry and Jackson

The Baltimore Ravens began the Jesse Minter era with a decisive 41-23 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Derrick Henry was a standout performer, rushing for 144 yards and three touchdowns, while Lamar Jackson contributed with two touchdowns in the season opener.

Jackson completed 17 of 25 passes for 324 yards and added 43 rushing yards. He initiated the scoring with a touchdown run following a 49-yard pass to Zay Flowers, who later caught a 52-yard touchdown pass before leaving the game due to a hamstring injury. The Ravens also faced a setback with Ja'Kobi Lane suffering a wrist injury.

Despite trailing 6-0 early, the Ravens quickly took control with two touchdowns and an interception by Roquan Smith. They extended their lead to 28-6 in the first half. Colts quarterback Daniel Jones, returning from an Achilles injury, finished with 166 yards but struggled to make an impact. The Colts will need to improve as they prepare for their next game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
