Ravens Sign Zay Flowers to $140 Million Extension
The Baltimore Ravens have finalized a four-year, $140 million contract extension with receiver Zay Flowers, ensuring a strong future for their receiving corps.
This deal, which includes $108 million guaranteed, was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Flowers, who is 25 years old, achieved a career-high of 86 receptions and 1,211 receiving yards last season, along with six touchdowns.
Despite Flowers' performance, the Ravens struggled with injuries to quarterback Lamar Jackson, resulting in an 8-9 record and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2021. The extension aligns Flowers' contract with that of Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson, making him one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL and securing his partnership with Jackson through at least 2027.
