Ravindra Jadeja's No-Ball Issue Continues to Plague Indian Cricket

Ravindra Jadeja's ongoing issue with no-balls has become a significant concern for the Indian cricket team, particularly during the second Test against Sri Lanka. His latest performance included four no-balls, bringing his total to 88 since 2021, the highest among spinners.

In the current match, Jadeja bowled three no-balls in the first innings and one in the second. This tally surpasses that of other spinners, with Pakistan's Noman Ali at 40 and Lasith Embuldeniya at 33. The problem has intensified since the introduction of television umpires for no-ball calls in late 2020, with only a few bowlers surpassing Jadeja's count.

Jadeja's no-ball issue has been evident throughout the series, as he also bowled two no-balls in each innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka. The Indian spin attack collectively struggled with discipline, recording ten no-balls in the ongoing Test match, although none resulted in lost wickets.
