Rays and Guardians Set for ALCS Showdown

The American League Championship Series will commence tomorrow at 7 PM CT, featuring the top two seeds, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Guardians. The Rays will host the Guardians in a best-of-seven series.

Tampa has selected Drew Rasmussen as their starting pitcher for Game 1, while the Guardians have yet to announce their starter. The Rays enter the series well-rested after sweeping the Yankees, while the Guardians recently completed a five-game Division Series against the White Sox.

Both teams boast strong pitching staffs, with the Rays' Rasmussen achieving a 2.67 ERA this season. The Guardians, however, may have an edge in the bullpen, having received solid performances from their relievers. The outcome of the series may hinge on offensive performance, with the Rays having a stronger batting average during the regular season compared to the Guardians.
