Rays Confirm Drew Rasmussen's 2027 Option

Rasmussen has emerged as a top starter for the Rays, boasting a 2.73 ERA over 133 appearances since joining the team in a trade with the Brewers in May 2021. His performance this past season was particularly notable, as he achieved a career-best 2.67 ERA over 172 innings and earned his second consecutive All-Star selection.

During the postseason, Rasmussen played a crucial role in the Rays' success, contributing to their third pennant win in franchise history. He recorded a 2.20 ERA in five playoff appearances, helping the team advance past the Yankees and Guardians before facing the Brewers in the World Series.
