Rays Take Control of ALCS with Game 5 Victory

The Tampa Bay Rays have gained a significant advantage in the ALCS, leading the series 3-2 after a 3-1 victory over the Cleveland Guardians in Game 5. This win was achieved at Progressive Field, where the Rays secured two out of three games during their road trip.

Rays pitcher Drew Rasmussen delivered an impressive performance, allowing only one run over seven innings, striking out six batters and demonstrating strong defensive support. The Rays capitalized on their offensive opportunities, scoring early and maintaining pressure throughout the game.

With the series shifting back to Tropicana Field, the Guardians face elimination and must win the remaining games to advance to the World Series. Cleveland's hopes rest on right-hander Gavin Williams, who has shown strong form this postseason.
