Real Madrid Calls for Javier Tebas's Resignation Over Controversial Comments
Real Madrid has requested the immediate resignation of Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, following his controversial remarks comparing the club's management to Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda chief.
Tebas stated that Real Madrid's communication strategies and its in-house TV channel resemble propaganda methods used by Goebbels. In response, Real Madrid labeled his comments as deeply offensive and morally repugnant, demanding that he resign from both his position in La Liga and as vice-president of the Spanish Football Association.
The club emphasized that it is unacceptable for someone in such influential roles to use Nazi-era comparisons to undermine their reputation. They also noted that this incident is part of a pattern of attacks from Tebas against Real Madrid and its leadership.
