Real Madrid Faces RB Leipzig in Champions League Match

Real Madrid is set to host RB Leipzig in a Champions League match at the Santiago Bernabéu, with kickoff scheduled for 8pm BST on October 21. The team is looking to secure its third consecutive victory in the tournament.

Vinicius Jr will return to the lineup for Real Madrid, despite currently serving a domestic ban that will prevent him from participating in the upcoming Clasico against Barcelona. Leipzig arrives in Madrid following a heavy 6-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, which highlighted the competitive disparity in the Bundesliga.

Before the loss to Bayern, Leipzig had achieved significant league victories, including a 6-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt and a 5-0 win against Hamburg. They have accumulated three points from their first two Champions League matches, with a previous defeat to Como and a win against PSV Eindhoven. However, Leipzig has struggled in away games, losing their last four matches in all competitions.
