Real Madrid Hosts Villarreal with Vinicius on the Bench

Real Madrid is set to host Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu as they seek to bounce back from a derby loss to Atletico Madrid. The match is scheduled for 8pm BST on Saturday, October 10.

In a notable lineup change, Vinicius Junior will start on the bench, with Yan Diomande taking his position on the left wing. Manager Jose Mourinho has made four changes to the team, including the introduction of Antonio Rudiger for the suspended Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras replacing Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella.

Real Madrid's starting lineup features Courtois, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Rudiger, Carreras, Tchouameni, Valverde, Guler, Bellingham, Diomande, and Mbappe. Villarreal will look to capitalize on this opportunity to secure a top-six position, fielding a team that includes Gulcasi, Freeman, Navarro, and Foyth.
