Real Madrid Secures 4-1 Victory Over Sevilla with Mbappe's Two Goals

Real Madrid achieved a 4-1 victory against Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 18, 2026, with Kylian Mbappe scoring two goals. This win reduces the gap to LaLiga leaders Barcelona to six points, just a week before their highly anticipated match.

Real Madrid, now third in the league with 21 points, has secured three consecutive wins since the international break. Sevilla remains in sixth place with 14 points. Despite the absence of suspended player Vinicius Jr, Real displayed an effective attacking style, with Arda Guler playing a key role in their performance.

Guler opened the scoring with a well-placed shot after receiving a pass from Yan Diomande. Mbappe added a second goal shortly after, showcasing his skill by evading defenders and scoring with ease. Diomande later assisted Mbappe for a penalty after he was fouled, which Mbappe converted. Sevilla's Manu Bueno scored a late goal, but Diomande quickly restored Real's three-goal lead with a powerful strike. Eder Militao made his return from injury, receiving a warm welcome from the fans.
