Rebel Calls for Signatures on ALS Petition Ahead of Congressional Deadline

She highlighted the urgency of reauthorizing the ACT for ALS before its expiration on September 30, as Congress is considering delaying a decision until the end of 2026. Rebel emphasized that many ALS patients cannot afford to wait for such a prolonged timeline.

The ACT for ALS is designed to facilitate access to investigational drugs for patients and has significantly improved ALS research funding and coordination. Rebel urged her followers to support the petition, stressing the immediate need for action to provide hope to the ALS community.
