The most notable agreement occurred on August 6, when Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions finalized a three-year contract valued at $67.5 million, potentially rising to $75.75 million, with $51.5 million guaranteed. Despite the Lions missing the postseason, Gibbs had an impressive 2025 season, rushing for 1,223 yards and 13 touchdowns, along with 616 receiving yards and five additional touchdowns.
