Recent Performances of Fightins Players at Triple-A Lehigh Valley
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Double-A Reading secured its first postseason spot since 2019 on Thursday night, while some players opted to join Triple-A Lehigh Valley for the remainder of the 2026 Minor League Season.
Tristan Garnett, a left-handed pitcher, was promoted to Triple-A on August 20 after a 5.17 ERA in 32 relief appearances for the Fightins. In his initial outings with the IronPigs, he faced challenges, including a significant loss against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, but managed to pitch scoreless in three of his appearances, resulting in a current ERA of 16.20.
First baseman Alex Binelas had a brief stint at Lehigh Valley, playing only three games before suffering a sports hernia, leading to his placement on the injured list. Outfielder Wuilfredo Antunez made an immediate impact in his debut, contributing to a walk-off win against the WooSox. Meanwhile, catcher Jordan Dissin has had limited opportunities since his promotion, with a batting average of 1-for-18 in five games.
