Red Bull Confirms Isack Hadjar's Recovery Progress
Isack Hadjar has been absent from three consecutive Formula 1 grands prix due to a wrist injury sustained during training. Red Bull's team principal, Laurent Mekies, has confirmed that Hadjar's recovery is progressing as expected.
Hadjar's injury led to Liam Lawson stepping in as his replacement, with Yuki Tsunoda also filling in at Racing Bulls. Mekies emphasized the importance of not rushing Hadjar's return, referencing the experience of MotoGP champion Marc Marquez, who faced a lengthy recovery after a serious injury.
The team plans to assess Hadjar's condition in about a week, determining if he can return to the simulator and eventually to racing. Meanwhile, Lawson is preparing for upcoming events, balancing responsibilities with both teams as he adapts to different cars.
