Red Bull F1 Team Hires Tom McCullough from Aston Martin
Red Bull Racing has announced the hiring of Tom McCullough, a veteran engineer from Aston Martin, to take over as head of racing next season.
McCullough will replace Gianpiero Lambiase, who is set to join McLaren in 2028 as its chief racing officer. Currently, Lambiase serves as Max Verstappen's race engineer while also overseeing broader racing responsibilities.
McCullough has a long history with Aston Martin, having worked through its previous iterations as Force India and Racing Point. He served as chief race engineer before becoming performance director, a role he held until the end of the 2024 season. His experience also includes positions at Sauber and Williams, and he began his career at chassis builder Reynard.
