Red Sox Defeat Orioles 6-5 with Rutschman's Two Homers

Roman Anthony added a crucial solo home run in the ninth, which became important when Christian Encarnacion-Strand hit a two-run homer for Baltimore in the same inning. Rutschman, who had missed the previous three games due to an elbow injury, was the standout player for Boston, recording more than one hit.

Erik Miller earned the win for the Red Sox after pitching a shutout inning in relief, while starter Jake Bennett allowed three runs over six innings. The Orioles' Brandon Young pitched 6 2/3 innings, giving up three runs, and Luis De Leon was charged with the loss. Rutschman's performance included his second and third home runs since joining the Red Sox in a trade from the Orioles.
