Red Sox to Activate Adley Rutschman for Tuesday's Game

The Boston Red Sox are preparing to activate catcher Adley Rutschman for their upcoming game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre on Tuesday.

Manager Chad Tracy confirmed the decision following the team's loss on Monday. Rutschman was acquired from the Baltimore Orioles in a significant trade that involved sending top prospects Enddy Azocar, Anthony Eyanson, and Kyson Witherspoon, along with a player to be named later and catcher Carlos Narváez.

Rutschman had been sidelined due to wrist inflammation but recently completed a rehab assignment with triple-A Worcester, where he played two games, achieving one hit, including a double, and two walks. Prior to his injury, he had a batting average of .251 with eight home runs over 67 games for Baltimore.
