Rejzohn Wright Out for 2026 Season Due to Hip Injury

Rejzohn Wright, a cornerback and special teams player for the New Orleans Saints, will not participate in the 2026 season due to a hip injury that necessitates surgery.

Head coach Kellen Moore confirmed the news, indicating that Wright, who had been competing for a defensive role during training camp, will be sidelined for the entire year. Last season, he played solely on special teams.

The 25-year-old Wright gained recognition from the Netflix series Last Chance U and initially joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Panthers in 2023. He has been with the Saints since 2024 but spent the previous season on injured reserve and will now face another year on the list.
