Rhett Bazzo Signs Three-Year Contract Extension with West Coast Eagles

West Coast Eagles defender Rhett Bazzo has officially signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club for the next three years.

Bazzo has emerged as a key player during the 2026 season, stepping up as a strong defender in the absence of teammates Harry Edwards and Reuben Ginbey. After initially struggling to secure a spot in the senior team, he played 13 consecutive games last season, showcasing his abilities.

Despite facing personal challenges and injuries earlier in his career, Bazzo expressed his satisfaction with the extension, highlighting the support he received from the club. His performance has significantly improved, and he is now considered an essential part of the team, averaging 11.8 disposals, six spoils, and 2.4 intercept marks per game this season.
