Rinus VeeKay Achieves Fourth Place Finish at Portland Grand Prix

Rinus VeeKay finished fourth at the Grand Prix of Portland, driving the No. 76 Juncos Hollinger Racing Chevrolet. The race took place on Sunday at the 1.964-mile Portland International Raceway, where VeeKay started in fifth position.

Throughout the race, the 25-year-old Dutch driver maintained a steady pace, skillfully avoiding incidents and benefiting from efficient pit stops. This result marks VeeKay's third fourth-place finish in his last five races, contributing to a total of five top-10 finishes this season and solidifying his 10th place in the championship standings.

A pivotal late-race pit stop allowed VeeKay to overtake competitors Marcus Ericsson and Kyle Kirkwood. The team made significant improvements to their road-course car following a productive test at Mid-Ohio, which has led to better performance in recent races.
