Rob Machado Launches Longboard Designed with Daughter Macy

Rob Machado has ventured into longboard shaping, collaborating with his daughter Macy to create the Macy-Boo, a new addition to his Firewire collection.

This longboard, available in lengths of 9’3’’ and 9’6’’, is priced at $1,390 and $1,450, respectively. It features a single concave under the nose, a rolled belly, and a flipped tail rocker, drawing inspiration from renowned surfboard shapers.

Macy, who contributed to the board's design, noted that its outline is wide with thinner rails compared to typical longboards. Additionally, they have introduced a 10-inch fin designed to enhance both turns and noserides.
