Robert Spillane Responds to Tom Brady's Super Bowl Comment
New England linebacker Robert Spillane reacted to Tom Brady's comment about not having a vested interest in the Super Bowl matchup between the Seahawks and Patriots. Spillane shared his thoughts during an appearance on WEEI in Boston, expressing that Brady's words were upsetting to him.
Spillane conveyed that he felt sadness for Brady, who spent two decades with the Patriots and achieved significant success both on and off the field. He noted that while his feelings were personal, others in the locker room might have different opinions.
Patriots coach Mike Vrabel also commented on Brady's statement, suggesting that Brady has moved on to his new role with the Raiders. Vrabel acknowledged the possibility that Brady may have collaborated with the Seahawks, especially considering the Raiders' interest in hiring Seattle's offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their head coach.
