Roberts Blums Joins Penn State Basketball with Strong 3-Point Shooting Skills
Penn State men's basketball has made notable roster additions ahead of the 2026-27 season, including Roberts Blums, a transfer from Davidson known for his exceptional 3-point shooting.
Blums, who previously played for Latvia's U16 and U18 teams, averaged 12.4 points per game during his sophomore season at Davidson, shooting 40.7% from beyond the arc. His performance ranked him seventh in the Atlantic 10 conference and would have been the best on the Penn State team in the previous season.
In a recent exhibition game, Blums contributed significantly off the bench, scoring 17 points and hitting four 3-pointers, showcasing his potential impact on the Nittany Lions' offense. He expressed a commitment to winning and adapting to his role within the team as they aim to improve their performance in the Big Ten.
