Rocco Becht of Penn State Named to Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 15

Penn State quarterback Rocco Becht has been selected as one of the top 15 candidates for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, as announced by the program on Thursday.

This award, presented by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, celebrates excellence in college football quarterbacks and is now in its 40th year. Becht, a redshirt senior, currently holds the record for the most wins among active FBS quarterbacks and ranks third in passing yards with 10,382 and passing touchdowns with 74.

Despite his impressive statistics, Becht has faced challenges in recent games, throwing only one touchdown and three interceptions in losses to Wisconsin and Northwestern. He will aim to improve his performance in the upcoming game against No. 19 USC, which will feature the 19th full-stadium White Out in the program's history.
