Rockets Finalize Roster with Two-Way Contracts for Tshiebwe and Phillips
The Houston Rockets have finalized their roster for the regular season by converting the Exhibit 10 contracts of Oscar Tshiebwe and Julian Phillips into two-way deals. This announcement was made through a press release from the team.
To make room for these conversions, the Rockets waived Sean Pedulla, who was previously on a two-way contract. With these changes, the Rockets now have 14 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals, including Quadir Copeland.
Tshiebwe, a 6'8" forward/center, has played 49 regular season games since going undrafted in 2023, averaging 7.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He had notable performances in the G League, averaging 17.3 rebounds per game. Phillips, the former No. 35 overall pick, has had a modest career thus far, averaging 3.6 points and 1.5 rebounds over 167 games. Pedulla, who played seven games for the Clippers last season, will become an unrestricted free agent if he clears waivers.
