Roki Sasaki Placed on 15-Day Injured List Due to Blister

The injury occurred suddenly in the fourth inning, leading Sasaki to leave the game after pitching 3.1 innings, during which he allowed four runs on six hits and two walks. He reported that the blister developed unexpectedly while facing the first batter of the fourth inning.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Sasaki's injury necessitated a stint on the injured list due to its severity. In response, left-hander Eric Lauer is expected to return to the rotation, although the timing of his start remains uncertain. The team will also be adding a relief pitcher to their roster.
