He expressed optimism about his recovery, indicating that while he does not have a flight booked back to the major league team, he feels good and could potentially return as soon as Friday. This timing coincides with a critical four-game series against the New York Yankees.

The Red Sox are currently concluding a series against the Miami Marlins, Anthony's hometown team. Despite his readiness to play in that series, the organization has opted for a cautious approach following his injury in May. Before his injury, Anthony had played 30 games, recording a .229 batting average with 25 hits and 12 runs.
