Roman Reigns Discusses WWE Live Event Schedule Changes
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has addressed his limited participation in live events, stating that it no longer makes sense for him to engage in these shows. This comes as WWE plans to increase the number of live events in 2026 after a reduction in 2024 and 2025.
In a recent interview, Reigns highlighted the financial implications of his schedule, noting that the significant revenue from television rights makes it risky for him to perform at smaller events. He expressed concern about potential injuries affecting his ability to compete on major televised events and premium live events.
Reigns, who previously participated in 150 to 200 shows annually during his early career, now works on a part-time basis with WWE. His last live event match occurred in October 2023, although he has been more visible on WWE programming since winning the world title at WrestleMania 42.
