Ronaldinho has arrived in Italy to officially join Ravenna, a Serie C club, marking his return to professional football. His arrival took place on Thursday at Forlì Airport, where he greeted fans with his signature gesture.

The 46-year-old's signing is part of Ravenna's international expansion strategy, which includes partnerships with Nike and Black Duck, following the club's acquisition by Ignazio Cipriani in 2024. Although a debut date has not been set, the club has confirmed that Ronaldinho is expected to participate in at least one official match this season.

This signing was initially announced in June during a presentation in Miami, where Ronaldinho expressed his excitement about bringing joy to the game at Ravenna. His last professional match occurred in 2015 with Fluminense, and he officially retired in January 2018.
