Rory McIlroy Reflects on Enthusiasm and Career Challenges

McIlroy admires Scheffler's consistency and has shared his struggles with maintaining enthusiasm as he enters his 19th season as a professional.

McIlroy noted that losing enthusiasm can signal the need for a break, expressing frustration over times when he felt obligated to compete without the desire to perform at his best. In contrast, Scheffler approaches each tournament with a focus on winning, emphasizing the importance of consistency and intensity in his game.
