Ryan Armour Takes Lead at Rogers Charity Classic
Ryan Armour has taken the lead at the Rogers Charity Classic in Calgary, Alberta, after shooting a 7-under-par 63. Despite his strong performance, he reflected on a challenging moment during the round.
Armour faced difficulties on the par-4, 490-yard 15th hole, where he recorded a double bogey, dropping his score to 5 under for the day. However, he rebounded with birdies on the 17th and 18th holes, finishing the tournament at 12 under, one stroke ahead of the competition.
Steven Alker from New Zealand is in second place after posting an impressive 61, bringing his total to 11 under. The first-day leaders, Richard Green and Rob Labritz, are tied for third at 10 under, along with several other players who also delivered strong rounds. Mike Weir is the top Canadian competitor, currently tied for 18th at 7 under.
